The Research Promotion Unit offers various types of competitive funds and provides advice in the management and acquisition of national and international external funds. Additionally, it offers consultancy and training to researchers.
RESEARCH MANAGEMENT AND PROMOTION
1. Consultancy to research units in identifying and formulating interdisciplinary and inter-institutional research proposals.
2. Assistance in addressing queries, organizing work meetings, finding evaluators, and assembling evaluation committees.
3. Support to researchers in formulating and presenting projects to different entities.
4. Facilitation of endorsements for research projects submitted by investigators to various funding sources.
5. Training for researchers in project formulation, presentation, and processing of proposals.
COOPERATION AND RESEARCH FINANCING
1. Management of internal and external resources and support in formulating national and international cooperation projects.
2. Organization of academic activities aimed at strengthening external cooperation in both directions.
3. Management of funding calls, awards, and recognition from the Vice-Rector's Office for Research and external institutions.
4. Search and identification of external financing sources for research projects.
5. Definition of strategies with national and international organizations, companies, and institutions to promote research.
COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITIES
1. Institutional representation in national and international committees related to the work of the Vice-Rector's Office for Research.
2. Advisory services to researchers in submitting proposals to participate in competitive funds offered by the Vice-Rector's Office.
3. Support to the Advisory Council and other entities involved in the selection process for the Humboldt Chairperson.
4. Preparation of plans, proposals, documents, and reports on the activities of the Promotion Unit and the Vice-Rector's Office.
