Fecha límite: Friday, October 29, 2021

Organización: United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)

This week FSDO is launching the Massive Open Online Course on Infrastructure Asset Management (MOOC). This new self-paced resource is based on the UN publication: "Managing Infrastructure Assets for Sustainable Development: A Handbook for Local and National Governments", and it draws from the multi-year partnership and collective field work of UN DESA, UNOPS, and UNCDF.

The MOOC aims to equip policymakers and government officials with a wide range of simple and effective tools to manage infrastructure assets sustainably in their national and local contexts. It includes inputs from local and central government officials across the globe, as well as renowned experts and practitioners from regional development banks, relevant UN system entities as well as think tanks and academia. Participants of the MOOC will have the opportunity to receive UN Certificates of Completion. If you are interested in taking the MOOC, please click here to enroll.

You are also cordially invited to register to receive the first quarterly issue of the UN Newsletter on Infrastructure Asset Management here.   The Newsletter is a two-way resource for connecting with officials from local and national governments, as well as to join experts and practitioners around the world to discover trends, successful experiences, challenges, and opportunities for sustainable infrastructure asset management.
